To support a global introduction of Travelife among travel companies, strategic partnerships have been established.

Partnerships have been established with international and regional organisations that are specialized in Corporate Social Responsibility or in specific sustainability themes. 

ECEAT-Projects

ECEAT-Projects is a Dutch NGO for sustainable tourism and the global manager for the Travelife Sustainability System  for Tour operators and Travel agencies. ECEAT promotes sustainable development by integrating tourism with biodiversity, environmental protection, local development, sustainable land use and the preservation of cultural heritage. ECEAT-Projects uses a business-orientated approach through the development and implementation of management systems, training tools and by providing marketing support. 

PATA

In May 2014 Travelife for Tour operators has signed a co-operation agreement with PATA, The Pacific Asian Travel Association. PATA members will have access to the Travelife sustainability training and management tools so that they can integrate socially and environmentally responsible practices into company operations.The Association unites more than 700 leading travel companies in the Asia Pacific region and has national chapters in most Asia Pacific countries and key source markets. As part of the partnership trainings have been provided in Thailand, Myanmar, Mongolia, Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. In 2016 trainings are planned in Vietnam and Indonesia. A regional tour operator sustainability working group was established to define common Asian sustainability standards for activities and suppliers.

ID-Tourism

ID-Tourism is a consulting company specialized in sustainable tourism.

ID-Tourism is based in Paris (France) and works with tour-operator & travel agency members of CETO, SNAV and ATES. Working in partnership with tour-operators, travel agencies & national business associations in France, ID Tourism has the competence to link European scaled projects to French destinations.

Wild Asia

Wild Asia is the Travelife support organisation in South-East Asia. Wild Asia is legally chartered as a Malaysian company and operates as a "social enterprise", a business concept for social or environmental missions. Wild Asia’s Responsible Tourism Initiative supports businesses to improve their social and environmental practices and to meet and exceed global standards.


Body and Soul International

Body and Soul is a quality DMC network with more than 100 destinations. The independent DMCs are locally based in most of these countries. The DMCs are able to offer expert local knowledge and logistical fulfillment and are established as specialist suppliers.


A growing number of national travel associations  promote Travelife among their members.


Travelife is supported by ECTAA, the umbrella organisation of national travel agent and tour operator associations within the EU. Most ECTAA members have signed a co-operation agreement with Travelife.  They actively promote the travel training and assessment tools among their members.  Within Asia Travelife as signed a strastegic partnership with PATA. A growing number of non-European associations have signed a partnership agreement and are promoting the Travelife sustainability tools among their members.

Travelife has become the common sector wide and internationally supported system, used throughout the industry. This creates a critical mass, establishes a ‘level playing  field’ and avoids confusion within the supply chain and among consumers.
